Best & Brightest Teacher Scholarship Program
Per House Bill (HB) 7069, the Florida Legislators will continue the Best and Brightest Teacher Scholarship Program for the 2018-19 school year. There are three scholarships available. The program will award scholarships to classroom teachers based on their rating on their final summative evaluation. All teachers are encouraged to read through the linked document for eligibility purposes. Included is the information document, submission form, and SAT/ACT qualifying charts. Due to Hurricane Michael, the application deadline has been extended to December 1, 2018 at 5pm.
Student Progression Plan
In response to legislation, the St. Johns County School Board has established a comprehensive program for student progression. The St. Johns County School District Student Progression Plan is a contract delineating what a student must know and be able to do to be promoted and what the district will do to help the student meet the requirements for promotion.
Launched in July of 2011, BusinessPlus is the District’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) which allows all St. Johns County School District employees to access their personnel and payroll information using a web-based portal.
