***St. Johns County School District requires that each substitute teacher work a minimum of 15 days per school year in order to remain active.
Those substitute teachers who no longer want to be on the district sub list, please email or mail resignation to substitute office to be removed. If a substitute teacher terminates active status with St. Johns County School District; the individual will be required to reapply, train and be security cleared (fingerprints & drug screened) when the district is hiring substitutes.
If a substitute does not request removal of their name from the sub list AND if they have been an active sub, they can be assured of continued active status as a sub for the next school year. However, if they do not meet the active sub requirement for the year, their file will be purged from the SmartFind system.
