Personalized Education Program (PEP)

On March 27, 2023, Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law House Bill 1, expanding education options for all K-12 students in Florida. The bill created the Personalized Education Program (PEP) as an option under the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship. Parents direct the education of PEP students, and receive access to funds in an education savings account (ESA) for their student.

Once a student receives PEP funding, they are no longer part of a district Home Education program and must terminate enrollment with the school district. If you applied for PEP while enrolled with your zoned school, you need to directly terminate from the school and are not required to enroll with the district Home Education office and then terminate.

Please complete the termination form here if you have been awarded PEP funding and were registered with Home Education, and email it to [email protected]
