Self-contained Settings for Students with Disabilities
IEP teams for approximately 9% of students with disabilities in St. Johns County have determined that placement in a self-contained setting is appropriate. Self-contained settings have been designed based on curriculum needs, not exceptionality category. Due to low numbers of students needing this placement, self-contained settings are not available at every school. See the chart below for where these classrooms have been clustered throughout the district.
