Structured Cabling Standards

The purpose of this document is to enumerate the standards and practices to be followed when designing structured cabling systems for the St Johns County School District. Each section of this document outlines:

1. a specific part of a structured cabling system or manner in which a product or technology should be installed or
2. a specific product line or product that shall be used for a certain part of an installation.

The current version of this document is to be used in conjunction with all applicable industry standards and codes to provide the St Johns County School District with a flexible, scalable, easily managed, properly documented structured cabling network.
