Volunteer Fingerprinting Process

Step 1:

    1. By fax: 904-547-3925, Attn: Volunteer Services Department

The information requested will be entered into the Clearinghouse to determine if fingerprinting is required.  After reviewing you will receive verification via email that: a) your fingerprints are acceptable in the Clearinghouse; or b) you need to have fingerprints done.  If you need to have fingerprints done, proceed to Step 2.

Note – Do not proceed to step 2 until receiving verification that fingerprints are necessary.

Step 2:

Visit www.fieldprintflorida.com. You will create a secure username/password to enter the system.

Enter this code when you make your appointment:

Fieldprint Code: FPStJohnsVolunteer

Note – Fieldprint Codes are case-sensitive.

On the “Reason For Fingerprinting” screen, enter the Fieldprint Code provided above.
Complete all required fields as requested. The information you provide is required by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to conduct a state and national criminal history check.

Select a local collection facility to schedule and pay for your appointment (see below for payment information). You will receive instructions, directions, maps, and photos for your appointment online.

Payment Information
Payment can only be made by credit card.
The volunteer fingerprint fee is $83.25.  Fingerprints are effective for 5 years.
Missed Appointment Fee: If you miss your appointment, there is a $15.00 fee to reschedule.

Step 3:

Clearance Verification
Upon receipt of cleared fingerprints, a representative from the Volunteer Services Department will contact you via email to verify completion. If further steps are necessary, this information will also be sent via email to you.
