What is an Add-On Endorsement?
- Endorsement courses offered through SJCSD have a limited participant capacity; therefore, priority is given to those who have particular certification requirements within a certain timeframe.
- Course offerings are advertised directly to those of the greatest need. If extra space is available, then courses will be shared with building administrators who will broadcast to their faculty.
- Endorsement courses are offered at no cost to SJCSD teachers. However, there is a $75 re-take fee if a course is not successfully completed.
- When space is available, Florida Certified non-employees and employees working in non-instructional roles may take the courses at a cost of $75 each.
- Endorsement courses offered through SJCSD are completed via our online learning center using the Moodle platform. Though each course has specified due dates for all assignments, there are not scheduled synchronous meetings (except in very rare special circumstances). Course information is emailed to participants from the facilitator no sooner than two days before the course start date in order to include all registrants.
