After schools close for the summer, kids and teens can still get free meals through Summer BreakSpot! No application is necessary, just show up to one of the thousands of meal sites across Florida.
Summer BreakSpot offers balanced breakfasts, lunches, snacks or dinner. Locations include places like parks, libraries and churches.
Summer BreakSpot is available all summer long for kids and teens 18 and under.

In an effort to promote community health and well-being this summer, the St. Johns County School District (SJCSD) will open its high school facilities to the public on select Wednesday evenings throughout the summer.
Due to ongoing athletic field turf renovations, Ponte Vedra High School’s facilities will not be open this summer.

As a reminder, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, all student pick-up and drop-off times and locations will be provided exclusively through BusPlanner and will no longer be available on Home Access Center (HAC).
Families who have not yet logged in to the BusPlanner website or the Chipmunk app are strongly encouraged to create an account before the start of the new school year. This will help ensure that you are able to access your child’s 2025-2026 bus schedule when schedules are released during the last week of July 2025.

During the summer from June 2 through July 31, the office hours for all schools and District departments for public access are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. All schools and District departments will be closed on Fridays. This schedule support the District’s energy cost savings effort.
Following the finalist interviews this morning and/or the “Meet and Greet” event this evening, the public is invited to provide feedback on each of the four finalists by completing an online survey. This survey closed on Monday, May 19, at noon.

On Wednesday, April 2, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, St. Johns Technical High School invites you to experience the “Taste of the Tech” where high school culinary students will be paired with professional local chefs to create tasty treats. Prepare your taste buds for a delectable adventure as we showcase the talent of our young culinarians!
