Alternate Website

In case of an emergency situation which may be caused by tropical weather, an alternate website has been set up as a means to communicate with parents and the community.

If the district website is operational, you can go to http://www.stjohns.k12.fl.us for the latest information on school schedules and closings.

If power or network connectivity is lost and we are unable to update our primary website, we have a backup website where we post emergency information. The address of that site is http://emergency.stjohns.k12.fl.us.

8/20/14, 10:40 AM - AT&T has resolved the cabling issue that was impacting 904-547-XXXX telephone service throghout our district.  District and school telephone systems are functioning at full capacity and calls are being completed normally.  This is the final update.

8/20/14, 6:45 AM - The district is still experiencing degraded AT&T telephone service.  AT&T continues to work on the issue but we are operating at partial capacity.  Residents and parents placing calls to district or school 904-547-XXXX numbers may receive busy signals if the call volume goes beyond our capacity until the AT&T completes their repair work.  If you receive a busy signal, please hang up and call back.

The Information Technology department is monitoring ATT's progress and will post updates here as they are available.

8/19/14, 9:05 PM - The district is still experiencing an interruption in ATT telephone service that is impacting our ability to make and receive phone calls from/to 904-547-XXXX numbers at all sites.  Main local numbers are still in service at all district sites and should be used when possible.

ATT has identified the cause as a cut cable in the St Augustine city area and has dispatched technicians to repair the cut.  The estimated time for repair is 4:00 AM eastern.  The Information Technology department is monitoring ATT's progress and will post updates here as they are available.
