The St. Johns County School Board is in the process of selecting a new Superintendent of Schools. To facilitate a thorough and inclusive search, the Board has partnered with the Florida School Boards Association (FSBA), whose experience will help identify the most qualified candidate to lead our schools forward.

The School Board will conduct Superintendent Interviews on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 8:30 AM. The meeting will be held in the auditorium of the SJCSD Administrative Building at 40 Orange Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084 and via Webex. Instructions to access this virtual meeting will be posted on the St. Johns County School District website.
Meet and Greet

There will be a Meet and Greet event with the Superintendent Finalists on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 6:00 PM. The event will be held in at First Coast Technical College located at 2989 Collins Ave., St. Augustine, FL 32084.
Past Events
The public was invited to provide feedback on the ten semifinalists by completing an online survey.
Ten semifinalists were selected by the School Board during the Board’s Special Meeting on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
These semifinalists were asked to provide written and video responses to 3 interview questions by 5:00 PM on Friday, April 18, 2025.
The application submission period ran from Monday, March 3, 2025 through Friday, March 28, 2025 and is now closed.
The Superintendent Search Community Survey closed on Friday, February 14, 2025. Thank you to everyone who provided their input!
