Thursday’s keynote speaker: Mr. Jason Williams, Mr. Williams has been in federal    law enforcement for over 15 years.  He is an Assistant Special Agent in Charge with the United States Department of  Education, Office of Inspector General.  He currently supervises investigations of crimes that effect  the operations of the Department of Education including fraud, public corruption, employee misconduct, embezzlement and identity theft in Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin   Islands.  He began his career in the Washington Field Office where he successfully investigated high profile multi-million  dollar fraud cases.  He later moved to the Pembroke Pines field office in South Florida.  Mr. Williams   is an undercover agent and has conducted numerous operations in this area     as the undercover agent and the case agent.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science    from Howard University in Washington, D.C. and his Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH.

 

Friday’s keynote speaker: Dr. Joseph G. Joyner,  Dr. Joyner became Flagler College’s fourth president in July 2017. Prior to his position as President of Flagler College, Dr. Joyner was Superintendent of Schools for the St. Johns County School District from 2003 until 2017. During his tenure, Dr. Joyner placed an emphasis on student success and established a culture of Servant Leadership.  In 2018, Dr. Joyner was inducted into the Orange County Public Schools Hall of Fame in recognition of his accomplishments and leadership within the field of education. In 2007-08, Dr. Joyner served as President of the Florida Association of District School Superintendents (FADSS), and in 2009, he was selected as the Florida Superintendent of the Year by FADSS. Dr. Joyner attended Florida State University on a football scholarship, graduating in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. He holds Masters and Doctoral degrees in Education from the University of Central Florida. He was selected as a UCF Outstanding Alumnus for 2005 and as an Alumnus of the Decade in 2007.
