School Social Workers<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

In St. Johns County, we recognize that there are many factors in and outside of the school setting that can impact a student\u2019s ability to participate in the education process. Our School Social Workers are committed professionals who can assist students, their families, and schools, with concerns such as Child Abuse & Neglect, Custody, Foster Care, Guardianship, Human Trafficking, Immigration, LGBTQ, Mental Health Issues, Mentoring, Military Transfers, Residency, Teen Pregnancy\/Parenting. School Social Workers work closely with the School Administration and the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) Team to identify students who could benefit from additional resources.<\/p>\n
