It is a true honor to serve as your Superintendent and to continue leading this extraordinary district, a place that I am proud to call home.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve had the privilege of serving this district in many leadership roles and through it all, I\u2019ve seen the incredible strength, innovation, and heart that define St. Johns County Schools. These experiences have only deepened my appreciation for the people and the purpose that makes this district such a special place. I\u2019m honored and excited to step into this role. I look forward to working alongside our board, teachers, families, and students to continue the district\u2019s tradition of excellence.<\/p>\n<p>This year, we begin school with more than 52,000 students, a reflection of the incredible growth and reputation our community holds. In response, we\u2019ve made significant strides to ensure our campuses are ready to meet the needs of every learner. From remodeled facilities and refreshed learning spaces to the exciting opening of Hallowes Cove Academy, our teams have worked tirelessly to prepare environments where students can thrive.<\/p>\n<p>Over the summer, school leaders, faculty, and support staff have been hard at work, planning lessons, decorating classrooms, organizing schedules, and preparing to welcome your children into vibrant, caring schools. These dedicated professionals are eager to fill our halls with laughter, curiosity, and the energy of students ready to grow, achieve, and connect.<\/p>\n<p>As we open a new school year, we do so in partnership with you, our families. Your continued involvement and support are vital to student success, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us each day.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for being a part of what makes St. Johns County so exceptional.
