This summer St. Johns County School District will offer Summer Choir Camp for incoming 6th-8th graders from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Monday, June 3rd, through Thursday, June 13th, at Beachside High School.

As a part of the Science Instructional Materials Adoption process, three committee meetings will be held on Wednesday, April 24th at 7:50 a.m, 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.
2024 Solar Eclipse
A total solar eclipse — an event that occurs when the moon passes between Earth and the sun — will occur on April 8th. Due to the safety concerns for students and staff, schools will not organize viewing activities of the solar eclipse.

ESE Parent Advisory Virtual Discussion – The Link Between Language Age and Behavior
Please join us on April 9, 2024, from 6pm to 7:30pm for a virtual discussion titled “The Link Between Language Age and Behavior.” The discussion will be presented by guest speaker from UF Health Jacksonville David Childers, MD.
District Media Advisory Committee Meetings in March & April

Secondary STEM Fair Awards 2024
90 students attended our Secondary STEM Fair, held at the First Coast Technical College on Tuesday, February 6 and an awards ceremony was held on Thursday, February 8.
Tina Hemby Named Teacher of the Year for 2024
Tina Hemby from Mill Creek Academy has been named St. Johns County Teacher of the Year for 2024 and Aimee Monie of Tocoi Creek High School has been recognized as Rookie Teacher of the Year.
2023-2024 Science Instructional Materials Adoption Update
The adoptions process for St. Johns Count School District Science instructional materials is underway. Our initial reviews will conclude on February 9, 2024.
