The St. Johns County School District (SJCSD), in conjunction with the Dalton Agency, has created a new logo that made its debut on Tuesday, September 2 during the SJCSD School Board Workshop. While the current logo has been a long standing brand for the SJCSD, the new “crest” logo represents the focus on high achievement throughout the district. The historical lighthouse is an element that was incorporated from the previous logo that defines St. Augustine and serves as a highlight of St. Johns County.
“This logo signifies the high expectations of the district and pays homage to our history as a public school system,” said Superintendent Dr. Joseph Joyner.
All vendors contracted by the SJCSD, outside organizations or citizens requesting to reproduce or use the SJCSD logo on materials, must fill out the Logo Request Form on http://www.stjohns.k12.fl.us/cr/logo/. The logo is available in EPS, JPEG, PDF and PNG for SJCSD departments and employees on http://inside.stjohns.k12.fl.us/cr/logos/. A complete description of these file formats/types and their suggested uses can also be found on this page.
The new logo will appear on letterhead, business cards, print and promotional materials. The logo will be phased in as materials bearing the previous logo are used or must be renewed due to other changes and/or requirements.
