LPA Smoke Shutdown

Liberty Pines Academy (LPA) will be closed again on Friday, June 3 due to significant smoke still remaining in the building and the air quality being below acceptable standards.
This decision was made in cooperation with the Florida Division of Forestry and the St. Johns County Emergency Operations Center.
There will be no activities at the school tomorrow including extended day.
School district officials expect LPA to be back open on Monday on its regular schedule. However, if conditions necessitate the closing of school next week, a News Alert will be posted on the district website and parents will be notified.
