Active Status Information If a substitute teacher has subbed at least one day during each quarter of the school year, they are considered an ACTIVE SUB for the next school year – AND they do not need to be re-fingerprinted!!!!! Those substitute teachers who no longer want to be on the district sub list are asked to call Venessa at 547-7634 or email leev@stjohns.k12.fl.us to be removed.  It is important that Human Resources maintains an accurate substitute pool.  Removing the names of those consistently declining jobs and no longer wanting jobs is critical.  THANKS for everyone's consideration. If a substitute does not request to remove their name from the sub list AND if they have been an active sub, they can be assured of continued active status as a sub for the next school year. If, however, they do not meet the active sub requirement for the year, the file will be purged from the SmartFind system.
