VOLUNTARY PRE-KINDERGARTEN VPK Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten is offered to children who are four (4) years old on or before September 1st of each year.  The VPK program consists of 540 hours of instruction for the full year program or 300 hours for the summer program.   The Early Learning Coalition of Putman & St. Johns Counties administers VPK through Episcopal Children’s Services (ECS).   Parents must contact ECS to receive a certificate of eligibility for the VPK program.  The certificate is then taken to your provider of choice within St. Johns County.  For further information regarding the VPK program please contact Episcopal Children’s Services at (904) 726-1500 or visit their website.
