Title I, Part A: Improving BASIC Programs
The purpose of Title I, Part A is to improve the academic achievement of economically disadvantaged youth.
The following schools have been designated as school-wide programs: Crookshank Elementary School, The Webster School, South Woods Elementary School, Osceola Elementary School, Otis A. Mason Elementary School, Ketterlinus Elementary School, Gaines/Transitions School, R.J. Murray Middle School, Gamble Rogers Middle School, and Sebastian Middle School.

Title I, Part C: Migrant Programs
(contract with Alachua Multi-County Migrant Program)
This program provides monitoring and support for migrant students. Most identified students are enrolled at South Woods Elementary, Murray Middle, Gamble Rogers Middle, and Pedro Menendez High.

Title I, Part D, Subpart 2: Programs for Neglected and Delinquent and At-Risk Students
This program provides supports to students in residential facilities. Supports are in the form of additional teachers and materials.

This grant provides training for teachers and principals. Schools receiving allocations are used to meet school needs as identified in their School Improvement Plans.
