Fingerprinting will be by appointment only and will be conducted only for clearance required to work in St. Johns County Public Schools. To schedule your fingerprinting appointment, please visit Payment will be accepted by credit card only.
The fee is $98.00 for vendors and $57.25 for all others. If the appointment is missed, there is a fee of $15.00 to reschedule.

Vendors that have been fingerprinted and cleared by another Florida School District, should follow the instructions that have been outlined in the FSSR Request Procedure (PDF).

Refer to Background Screening under the Lunsford Act Menu for more details on offenses that may lead to disqualification.

How to Schedule a Fingerprinting Appointment

When it is time for an applicant/college student/vendor to be fingerprinted, direct them to read the instructions below and then log onto the website to schedule their appointment.
In the Reason why you need to be fingerprinted screen; the applicant will select
I know my Fieldprint Code and enter the Fieldprint Code in the space provided.
Please choose one of the following below:
Educator Certificate/Sub Teachers/ Adjunct Coach-Assistant/ Paraprofessionals/Tutors  Fieldprint Code: FPStJohnsCertEmp
Support Employees Fieldprint Code: FPStJohnsSupportEmp
Vendor Fieldprint Code: FPStJohnsVendor

Please note the access code IS case sensitive.
Your registrants will create a secure username/password and enter our system. They will provide their contact and demographic info. The information requested on the scheduling site is the information required by FDLE/FBI in order to process the criminal search. This is the same information required to be completed by the representative on “the old” ink hard cards.
From this point forward the website will prompt the representative for the required information to find a local collection facility and schedule an appointment. Instructions, directions, maps, and photos will all be provided directly online.
