Technology Benchmarks
Below are links to the St. Johns County Technology Benchmarks checklists for grades K - 8. Student achievement should be monitored and adjusted based on individual student progress four times a year to be certain all benchmarks are being addressed. They are provided as PDF documents.

Guidelines for Technology Curriculum (K-5)
These pages are set up to give teachers an idea of the skills that should be taught or attempted at each grade level. It has been designed as a continuum to assure that each grade levels' suggested skills are going to be reinforced and extended upon at the next grade level.

Lessons that Support Integrating Technology into the Curriculum
The purpose of these pages is to provide teachers with lessons that support the curriculum state standards while integrating the St. Johns County Technology Benchmarks into the curriculum. Below you will find links for a primary and intermediate list of the lessons. Each lesson identifies the grade level(s) for which it is appropriate for along with a checklist of the benchmarks addressed upon successful completion by your students. The lessons have all been designed to include two parts. A teacher lesson plan provides information about curriculum being addressed, equipment needs, and all preparations necessary for teaching the lesson to your class. At the bottom of each teacher page are a few suggested ways that each individual lesson can be extended or altered to expand the knowledge and/or skill levels of the lesson. The teacher lesson plan page is then followed by a student direction lesson page, this page has been designed to be photocopied and made available as a guide for both students and the teacher to ensure successful completion of each activity.
