RSVP Strategic Plan Goals and Strategies Goal 1 - Recruit seniors 55 and better wishing to help others in St. Johns County, and assist in their appropriate placement. Strategies   1. Make recruitment information available through local media - newspaper, television, radio.   2. Maintain active participation in related community events - volunteer fairs, health fairs, parades, festivals.   3. Keep existing RSVP members apprized of volunteer opportunities through the RSVP newsletter.   4. Maintain the RSVP web site. Goal 2 - Collaborate with community service organizations and provide volunteer opportunities which: 1)help to meet critical community needs, and 2) provide a satisfying experience for volunteers. Strategies   1. Interact on a personal/business level with community organizations, to assure familiarity with the mission, function, and availability of RSVP.   2. Familiarize St. Johns County with the increasing level of volunteer resources available through RSVP. Goal 3 - Provide communication and recognition to volunteers that make known the success of their service and motivate them to continue in their efforts. Strategies   1. Continue use of the RSVP newsletter to show appreciation for efforts made by volunteers, and to keep them informed of current local and national events regarding RSVP.   2. Assure that the RSVP web site provides current information.   3. Continue annual recognition luncheons.
