With the start of the new school year the Transportation Department has received a high volume of requests for Provisional Transportation Waivers. If you have applied for a Provisional Transportation Waiver, please note that the Transportation Department will not begin approving or denying these requests until Monday, August 26.
In the meantime, alternate transportation must be arranged by parents and guardians. In addition, if your child was approved for a provisional waiver last year, you must apply again for the current school year.
2019-2020 School Year Criteria
Provisional Transportation Waiver requests submitted for the 2019-2020 school year will only be approved under the following circumstances:
- School to school waivers for school district employees
- Student volunteers (school to school)
- Extreme hardships with principal endorsements
